December, 2011: 115 / 200 donors, good effort but we did not reach our goal.
Daily Donation Update @ 8:00pm Atlantic Time:
- Jan. 11: We need at least 7 people to donate $20/week or 14 people to donate $10/week for just one year!

- Jan. 10: We received a donation of 2.5 people today, we needed 7
- Jan. 9: We received only a donation of $200 today, no problem — let this centre & masjid close due to our intense love for dunya.

- The total cost of the project is $2.1 Million + Tax, and the fundraising goal for the month of January is $200,000.
- The starting date is April 2012 inshaAllah, the reason for the delay is lack of funds.

- As of January, 2012, we have pledged amount of $435,799 out of which we have collected $257,878.
- We need 200 people every month until March for only $20/week for one year or 400 people for only $10/week for one year so we can start the project in April, 2012.

When the Centre is complete with its 5 floors, it will house the following programs:
- Masjid space for 1000 worshippers
- Daily Arabic Program for Men & Women
- Daily Qur’an Program for Men & Women
- Ihsan Academy of Halifax
- Proper Video Production
- Media Watch Program
- Weekly New Muslim Class
- In-House Pamphlet Production
- Weekly Open House For the General Public
- Soup Kitchen for the Needy
- Marriage Counselling
- Rooms for Students of Knowledge
Would it not be better to support a centre that does all of these activities in addition to holding 5 daily prayers ?
